Dear Readers,
Yesterday I read an article about waves, and in it the quoted expert repeated what
we all learned in school: energy cannot be destroyed. It can be transformed; it can
be converted, but it cannot be destroyed. God's energy is the essence of our souls.
When we tune our mental and physical energy into God's Divine Energy, our
human energy literally is spiritually transformed. Because our Lord cannot
be destroyed, neither can our souls. In short, our inner life IS our life.

Deep within us all there is an amazing inner sanctuary of the soul,
a holy place, a Divine Center, a speaking Voice, to which we may
continuously return. Eternity is at our hearts, pressing upon our time-
torn lives, warming us with intimations of an astounding destiny,
calling us home unto Itself. Yielding to these persuasions, gladly
committing ourselves in body and soul, utterly and completely,
to the Light Within, is the beginning of true life.

_________
Your beauty should not come from outward
adornment, such as braided hair and the
wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes.
Instead, it should be that of your inner
self, the unfading beauty of a gentle
and quiet spirit, which is of great
worth in God's sight.
Book of 1 Peter 3:3-4
The Holy Bible
New International Version
_________
Think about yourself:
your temple of God, the body;
your spirit of God, the soul;
the flow of God, the mind.
- Yogi Bhajan
What Yogi Bhajan is saying is that our bodies,
minds, and souls must be consecrated to God
and the Divine Purpose because that is why we
are here ... If we are in harmony with the Divine
Purpose, God's temple, spirit, and flow in our
lives are similarly in harmony.
Excerpted from "The Mystic Hours,"
by Wayne Teasdale
New World Library, 2004
_________
He who is within us urges, by secret persuasion,
to such an amazing inward Life with Him, so that,
firmly cleaving to Him, we always look out upon all
the world through the sheen of Inward Light, and
react toward men spontaneously and joyously
from this Inward Center.
Excerpted from "A Testament of Devotion,"
by Thomas R. Kelly

The Last Word:
Love isn't outside.
Love is an inside job,
found through loving.
Lama Surya Das (1950 - )
American Buddhist lama

I belong to the "Great God Party" and will have nothing
to do with the "Little God Party." Christ does not want
nibblers of the possible, but grabbers of the impossible.
