Dear Readers,
What if, behind Door #3, was the most fantastic, miraculous
gift, just waiting for you to say, "I'll take Door #3."And what
if you never bothered to say it and take it? Well, you'd never
receive it. That's how most of us treat God's blessings. We for-
get to say, "Oh, yeah. I'd really enjoy having your blessings
bestowed on me, Lord." He's waiting with bated breath every
single day for us to ask for the miracles of His blessings. And
if we remember to ask for them each and every day, our lives
will be transformed. It's ours for the asking, today.

So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you;
seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks, finds,
and to him who knocks it will be opened.
If a son asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?
Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will your heavenly Father give
the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!
Luke 11:9-13
The Holy Bible
New King James Version
___________
And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying,
"Oh, that You would bless me indeed,
and enlarge my territory, that Your hand
would be with me, and that You would keep me
from evil, that I may not cause pain!"
So God granted him what he requested.
1 Chronicles 4:10
The Holy Bible
New King James Version
___________
Even though there is no limit to
God's goodness, if you didn't ask
Him for a blessing yesterday,
you didn't get all that you
were supposed to have.
From "The Prayer of Jabez,"
by Dr. Bruce H. Wilkinson
Multnomah Publishers, 2000
___________
God's love can't be legislated, but it can be chosen.
Choose it, won't you? For the sake of your heart.
For the sake of your home ... The prayer is as
powerful as it is simple: "Lord, I receive your love.
Nothing can separate me from your love."
Excerpted from "Come Thirsty,"
by Max Lucado
W Publishing Group, 2004
___________
Ask for the Divine Plan of your life to unfold through joy.
Ask politely. Ask with passion. Ask with a grateful
heart and you will be heard.
Just ask.
From "Simple Abundance,"
by Sarah Ban Breathnach
Warner Books, 1995
The Last Word:
The Lord's blessing is our greatest wealth;
all our work adds nothing to it.
