Dear Readers,

Not one of us gets out of here alive. We wonder, speculate and look
for clues as to what happens when our days on earth end. We know
for certain that our bodies stay here. We also instinctively sense that
there is much more to who we are. We call that our soul. Since most
of us believe that the soul continues uninterrupted, it's a good guess
that God treasures our souls with a love of which we can't conceive.

Today's opening quotes are from the visions of a German mystic.
I'm guessing that the conversation she hears between the soul and
God, glorious as it is, most likely pales in comparison to the real
exchange we'll have when it's our turn to leave the body behind.
